Our Awards

The Aggie Impact Gala is proud to present 4 prestigious awards to be presented at the Aggie Impact Gala.

The Aggie Impact Award is a revered honor bestowed upon a former student of Texas A&M University. The award, sponsored by the first Constituent Network of The Association of Former Students, Texas A&M Black Former Student Network, recognizes individual persons who have made a positive IMPACT on society by setting themselves apart by excelling in their profession, their undying commitment to serving society and his/her community, and by their service to Black students, faculty, and former students of Texas A&M University.

The Kevin Carreathers Award for Impact and Service is an award designated for a Texas A&M University System faculty member or employee who did not attend Texas A&M as a student, but has contributed significantly to the advancement, well being, and excellence of Black students at Texas A&M.

This award, sponsored by the Texas A&M Black Former Student Network, is given to up-and-coming current and former students aged 30 and under who embody Aggie core values and display continual growth. Individuals recognized are emerging leaders in their profession or the Aggie community and demonstrate a desire to pay it forward to current students and future Aggies.

The Foundation Excellence Award is the first of its kind for Texas A&M University.  Its unique characteristic is that it funds educational scholarships specifically for deserving African American students. While BFSN is the operational and networking arm, the Aggie Impact Endowment is the funding arm providing scholarships for current and future students.  The scholarships are presented through the Aggie Impact Foundation Excellence Award.
